Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry and place them in a bowl with buttermilk, then let soak for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Remove shrimp from buttermilk and coat each piece evenly in the mixture.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 200°C.
  5. Place shrimp in a single layer in the basket and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth.
  7. Toss cooked shrimp in the sauce or drizzle on top.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
