Description
Baked Boursin Salmon is a cozy and elegant dinner that combines creamy garlic herb cheese with tender, flaky salmon. This recipe feels gourmet but stays easy enough for any night of the week, offering rich flavor and minimal cleanup all in one pan.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
- 1 round Boursin garlic and fine herbs cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Lemon slices
- Fresh parsley or dill for garnish
- Optional: cherry tomatoes, asparagus spears, spinach, shallots, or crushed garlic
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and place them in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add a little lemon zest for brightness.
- Spread or crumble Boursin cheese over each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 14–17 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is flaky and cheese is soft and golden.
- Remove from oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with parsley or dill before serving.
Notes
For best results, check salmon a few minutes early to prevent overcooking. You can add vegetables like cherry tomatoes or asparagus to the same pan for a complete meal. Reheat leftovers gently at 300°F to maintain tenderness. Avoid high-heat microwaving.
