Description
This creamy Buffalo Chicken Dip is rich, bold, and perfectly balanced without ever getting greasy or separating. Made with tender shredded chicken, melted cheese, and zesty buffalo sauce, it’s a warm, scoopable crowd-pleaser that works just as well for dinner as it does for game day or parties.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie or cooked chicken breast)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease an oven-safe baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese until evenly combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbling around the edges and lightly golden on top.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and optional blue cheese before serving.
Notes
For best results, use room-temperature cream cheese and avoid overheating to prevent grease separation. This dip can be made ahead and reheated gently, or kept warm in a slow cooker on the warm setting.
