Description
If you have been scrolling lately, you have probably seen the Boy Kibble Bowl everywhere. While it started as a viral trend, it quickly proved itself as a practical, high protein dinner. Because it combines beef, rice, and eggs in one simple bowl, it delivers balanced nutrition with minimal effort. Therefore, it is perfect for busy schedules, meal prep, and satisfying weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked jasmine or white rice
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Optional green onions
- Optional steamed broccoli
- Optional chili flakes or hot sauce
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions and fluff with a fork.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add ground beef. Break it apart and cook until browned.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper, then add soy sauce and stir well to combine.
- In a separate pan, cook the eggs to your preference, either sunny side up or scrambled.
- Assemble the bowl by adding rice as the base, followed by cooked beef and eggs on top.
- Add optional toppings like green onions, broccoli, or chili flakes for extra flavor.
- Serve immediately or portion into containers for meal prep.
Notes
For best results, rinse the rice properly to avoid mushy texture. You can customize the bowl with different proteins like chicken or turkey, or swap rice for cauliflower rice for a lower carb option.
