Description
This creamy Cajun steak rigatoni blends tender seared steak tips with rich Parmesan sauce and perfectly cooked pasta for a comforting and flavorful dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz rigatoni pasta
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Pat steak dry and season with Cajun spice and olive oil.
2. Heat a skillet and sear steak tips for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
3. Boil rigatoni in salted water until al dente, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, and stir in heavy cream.
5. Add Parmesan and whisk until creamy. Adjust thickness with pasta water.
6. Combine rigatoni and steak with sauce, toss gently, and heat for 2 minutes.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Use sirloin or ribeye for tender results.
Adjust Cajun spice for desired heat level.
For a lighter version, substitute half and half for heavy cream.
Leftovers reheat best with a splash of milk or cream to refresh the sauce.
