Description

This Chicken Ranch Pasta is the ultimate comfort food—tender chicken, creamy ranch sauce, melty cheese, and perfectly cooked pasta all come together in one dish. It’s rich, hearty, and satisfying, yet simple enough for a weeknight dinner. Ranch seasoning adds tangy creaminess that balances the golden chicken and luscious sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and a pinch of ranch seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Dice into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a large pan, combine heavy cream, remaining ranch seasoning, and garlic. Stir in half of the cheddar and mozzarella until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and chicken into the sauce. Mix gently until everything is well coated.
  6. For a baked version, transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake at 375°F for 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with garlic bread or veggies.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat with a splash of cream or milk to keep the sauce creamy. Customize with veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes. For a lighter version, swap in Greek yogurt or low-fat cheese.
