Description

These Christmas Kitchen Sink Cookies are the ultimate festive treat  soft, chewy, buttery, and packed with everything you love about the holidays. Sweet and salty mix-ins like M&Ms, pretzels, potato chips, and chocolate make every bite a delightful surprise. Perfect for baking with kids or leaving out for Santa!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 to 2 large eggs (depending on desired texture)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup crushed potato chips
  • 3/4 cup red and green M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup caramel bits or chopped candy bars
  • Optional: holiday sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs (one or two depending on desired texture) and vanilla extract; beat until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in crushed pretzels, potato chips, M&Ms, white and semi-sweet chocolate chips, and caramel bits.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

These cookies are endlessly customizable! Add nuts, caramel popcorn, or sprinkles for extra fun. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Perfect for Christmas cookie swaps or gifting!
