Description

This Copycat Acai Playa Bowl captures all the tropical, refreshing flavors of the famous Playa Bowls chain right at home. With a creamy acai base, crunchy blueberry flax granola, and fresh fruit toppings, it’s a healthy, antioxidant-packed treat perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packs frozen acai puree (such as Pitaya Foods acai packs)
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon monk fruit sweetener (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup blueberry flax granola (or Playanola granola)
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced banana
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons warmed Nutella

Instructions

  1. Prepare a high-powered blender for blending the acai base.
  2. Add frozen acai puree, frozen banana, frozen berries, almond milk, agave nectar, monk fruit sweetener, and lime juice to the blender. Blend until thick and smooth.
  3. In a wide bowl, sprinkle granola at the bottom for a crunchy base.
  4. Spoon the acai blend over the granola and smooth the surface.
  5. Arrange fresh strawberries, sliced bananas, and coconut flakes on top in rows or patterns.
  6. Drizzle warmed Nutella generously over the toppings.
  7. Finish with extra granola on top for added crunch and enjoy immediately.

Notes

You can swap Nutella for almond or peanut butter, add chia seeds, or top with tropical fruits like mango and pineapple. For thicker texture, use less liquid and more frozen fruit.
