Ingredients
- 1 (24 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli (no need to thaw)
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage (optional)
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes or 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini for extra veggies
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef or turkey with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes (or marinara), garlic salt, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat layers of sauce, ravioli, and cheese until all ingredients are used.
- Finish with a layer of sauce and extra cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2–2.5 hours.
- Let rest 15–30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can make this vegetarian by skipping the meat and using spinach or veggie ravioli. For freezer prep, assemble and freeze uncooked for up to 3 months, or freeze cooked portions for quick reheating.
