Description

The Dubai Chocolate Bar is a luxurious, homemade dessert inspired by Middle Eastern flavors. It combines layers of smooth milk chocolate, creamy pistachio butter, and crispy kataifi for a decadent treat that’s both indulgent and easy to make at home. Perfect for gifting or savoring with coffee.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips (high quality)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)
  • 1/2 cup kataifi (toasted)
  • 1/3 cup pistachio butter or pistachio paste
  • 1 tablespoon tahini (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Crushed pistachios for topping

Instructions

  1. Melt the milk chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth. Melt the white chocolate separately for drizzling.
  2. Toast kataifi in a skillet with butter over low heat until golden and crispy. Let it cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix pistachio butter and tahini until creamy. Add a teaspoon of melted butter if needed for smoothness.
  4. Pour a thin layer of melted milk chocolate into silicone molds and tap to remove air bubbles.
  5. Sprinkle toasted kataifi over the chocolate layer, then add a layer of pistachio mixture.
  6. Seal with another layer of melted milk chocolate and smooth with a spatula.
  7. Freeze molds for 20–30 minutes or until firm. Unmold carefully.
  8. Drizzle with melted white chocolate and top with crushed pistachios for garnish.

Notes

Toast kataifi gently to prevent burning and use high-quality chocolate for best results. Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to a month.
