Description
The Dubai Chocolate Bar is a luxurious, homemade dessert inspired by Middle Eastern flavors. It combines layers of smooth milk chocolate, creamy pistachio butter, and crispy kataifi for a decadent treat that’s both indulgent and easy to make at home. Perfect for gifting or savoring with coffee.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips (high quality)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)
- 1/2 cup kataifi (toasted)
- 1/3 cup pistachio butter or pistachio paste
- 1 tablespoon tahini (optional)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- A pinch of sea salt
- Crushed pistachios for topping
Instructions
- Melt the milk chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth. Melt the white chocolate separately for drizzling.
- Toast kataifi in a skillet with butter over low heat until golden and crispy. Let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix pistachio butter and tahini until creamy. Add a teaspoon of melted butter if needed for smoothness.
- Pour a thin layer of melted milk chocolate into silicone molds and tap to remove air bubbles.
- Sprinkle toasted kataifi over the chocolate layer, then add a layer of pistachio mixture.
- Seal with another layer of melted milk chocolate and smooth with a spatula.
- Freeze molds for 20–30 minutes or until firm. Unmold carefully.
- Drizzle with melted white chocolate and top with crushed pistachios for garnish.
Notes
Toast kataifi gently to prevent burning and use high-quality chocolate for best results. Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to a month.
