Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes
Instructions
- Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Season the steak evenly with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Work in batches if needed.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
- Once butter melts, add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return all steak bites to the pan and toss until fully coated in garlic butter sauce.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley and chili flakes if using, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use high heat for the best sear and avoid overcrowding the pan. Let the steak rest briefly before serving to keep the bites tender and juicy. These steak bites pair well with potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
