Description

These Halloween Candy Bar Blondies are the perfect way to use up leftover fun-size chocolates after Halloween. With a buttery blondie base, chewy texture, and gooey pockets of caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate, every square is a festive surprise. Easy to make, kid-friendly, and crowd-pleasing, they’re the ultimate holiday dessert recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped assorted candy bars (Snickers, Twix, Kit Kat, Reese’s, M&M’s, Milky Way, etc.)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in chopped candy bars and optional chocolate chips.
  7. Spread batter evenly into the prepared baking tray.
  8. Bake 22–25 minutes, until edges are golden and center is just set.
  9. Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

For best results, slightly underbake for a chewy texture. Press extra candy pieces on top before baking for a festive look. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days, or freeze individually for up to 2 months.
