Ingredients
- 1 pack soft Hawaiian rolls
- Thinly sliced deli ham
- Sliced Havarti cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven.
- Slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them.
- Separate the top and bottom halves, then layer all sliced ham on the bottom half.
- Add sliced Havarti evenly over the ham.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds.
- Brush the buttery glaze generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover the tray tightly with foil and bake until the cheese is melted.
- Remove foil and bake again until tops are golden and slightly crisp.
- Let sliders rest briefly before cutting and serving.
Notes
Slice the rolls while still attached for even layering. Avoid adding ingredients with excess moisture to prevent sogginess. Let the sliders cool slightly before cutting so they hold their shape. These reheat well and are great for meal prep.
