Description

Creamy, frothy, and better than café style at home, this Matcha Latte Recipe delivers a smooth, vibrant drink with balanced flavor and calm energy. Because you control the ingredients, you can easily customize sweetness and milk for a perfect daily boost.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water (around 175°F)
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (oat milk or whole milk)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or simple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat water to about 175°F (not boiling).
  2. Sift matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps.
  3. Add a small amount of hot water and whisk into a smooth paste.
  4. Whisk in a W motion until frothy.
  5. Heat and froth the milk separately.
  6. Pour milk into a mug and add whisked matcha.
  7. Stir gently, sweeten if desired, and serve.

Notes

Always sift matcha to prevent clumps and use water below boiling to avoid bitterness. You can use a jar or shaker if you don’t have a whisk. Adjust sweetness and milk type to suit your taste.
