Description

These adorable Nutter Butter Turkey Cookies are the perfect Thanksgiving treat  fun to make, festive to display, and loved by both kids and adults. They’re no-bake, easy to assemble, and bring a joyful touch to your holiday dessert table.

Ingredients

  • Nutter Butter cookies (peanut-shaped sandwich cookies)
  • Round sandwich cookies (optional, for variety)
  • White candy melts (for glueing decorations)
  • Candy corn (for feathers)
  • Candy eyeballs
  • Orange Reese’s Pieces (for the beak)
  • Red cookie icing (for the wattle)
  • Optional: Mini chocolate chips, colored sprinkles, or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Melt white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth. This will act as your edible glue.
  2. Lay out Nutter Butter cookies on parchment paper. You can also use round sandwich cookies for a different look.
  3. Dip the tip of each candy corn into melted candy and attach to the top back of each cookie to create feathers. Let set for a few minutes.
  4. Use small dots of melted candy to attach two candy eyeballs and one orange Reese’s Piece as the beak below them.
  5. Pipe a small red squiggle using cookie icing next to the beak to form the wattle.
  6. Allow cookies to set at room temperature for 10–15 minutes or refrigerate briefly to harden.
  7. Serve on a platter or wrap individually for parties or gifts.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. To make ahead, prepare decorations separately and assemble before serving. Use gluten-free sandwich cookies for a gluten-free version. Perfect no-bake dessert when your oven is busy with Thanksgiving dishes!
