Description

These viral scallion pancake croissants are the ultimate 3-ingredient air fryer snack, combining flaky croissant-style layers with savory green onion goodness. Quick, crispy, and unbelievably addictive, they’re perfect for busy days when you want something fancy without the effort.


Ingredients

  • Frozen scallion pancakes (thawed for exactly 5 minutes)
  • 1 beaten egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or chili flakes (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Remove frozen scallion pancakes from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature for exactly 5 minutes until flexible but not sticky.
  2. Peel off the plastic film, stack two pancakes, and cut them into 8 equal triangles like a pizza.
  3. Take one triangle and roll it tightly from the wide edge toward the point, tucking the tip underneath to seal.
  4. Brush the tops lightly with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or chili flakes if using.
  5. Place rolls in the air fryer basket with space between them.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Remove and let cool for 2 minutes before serving so the layers crisp fully.
