Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

- 1 package strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup cold water
Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into a 9×13-inch pan to form the crust and refrigerate until firm.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until light and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the chilled crust.
- Arrange the sliced fresh strawberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in hot water, then stir in the cold water and allow it to cool slightly.
- Carefully pour the cooled gelatin over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until fully set.
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
For the cleanest layers, chill each layer before adding the next. Fresh strawberries provide the best flavor, but thawed and well-drained frozen strawberries can also be used. For best results, prepare the dessert a day ahead so the layers set completely and the flavors blend beautifully.
