Description

Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with tangy cream cheese and tart cranberries make these Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites the ultimate holiday appetizer or snack. Quick to prepare, festive, and always a crowd-pleaser, they’re perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any cozy gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough, separate into 8 triangles, then cut each triangle in half for 16 pieces.
  4. Press each dough piece into a mini muffin cup to form a shallow cup.
  5. Spoon 1 teaspoon cream cheese mixture into each cup.
  6. Top with 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with orange zest or pecans, if desired.
  8. Bake for 11–13 minutes until golden and puffed.
  9. Cool 3–5 minutes, loosen edges with a knife, and transfer to a cooling rack.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in a 325°F oven for 8–10 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle with honey after baking or add a sprinkle of sea salt before serving. You can also use puff pastry instead of crescent rolls for a flakier texture. These bites freeze well and can be reheated straight from the freezer.
