Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with tangy cream cheese and tart cranberries make these Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites the ultimate holiday appetizer or snack. Quick to prepare, festive, and always a crowd-pleaser, they’re perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any cozy gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unroll crescent dough, separate into 8 triangles, then cut each triangle in half for 16 pieces.
- Press each dough piece into a mini muffin cup to form a shallow cup.
- Spoon 1 teaspoon cream cheese mixture into each cup.
- Top with 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle with orange zest or pecans, if desired.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool 3–5 minutes, loosen edges with a knife, and transfer to a cooling rack.
- Serve warm or at room temperature. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in a 325°F oven for 8–10 minutes.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle with honey after baking or add a sprinkle of sea salt before serving. You can also use puff pastry instead of crescent rolls for a flakier texture. These bites freeze well and can be reheated straight from the freezer.
