Description

This simple and satisfying Tuna Melt Wrap is a warm, cheesy, and nutrient-rich lunch that comes together in just 10 minutes. Packed with protein-rich tuna, creamy Greek yogurt, and melty cheese, it’s a lighter twist on the classic tuna melt that fits perfectly into any busy day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons corn (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon dill relish or chopped capers
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla (10-inch)
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Optional: fresh spinach or arugula

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together tuna, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, pepper, corn, and relish or capers until well combined.
  2. Lay the tortilla flat and sprinkle half the cheese over the surface.
  3. Add the tuna mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  4. Top with optional spinach or arugula and sprinkle remaining cheese.
  5. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly into a wrap.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the wrap seam side down.
  7. Grill for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve immediately for the perfect warm and crispy finish.

Notes

Use skipjack tuna for a low-mercury option. To meal prep, store the filling in an airtight container for 1–2 days and assemble fresh wraps as needed. For extra crispiness, reheat the wrap in a skillet or air fryer before serving.
