- 1 cup grape or cherry tomatoes
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Slice each grape tomato diagonally and rotate the halves to form heart shapes.
- Pat mozzarella balls dry with paper towels.
- Wash and dry basil leaves.
- Thread a tomato heart onto a skewer, followed by a basil leaf and a mozzarella ball.
- Repeat until skewers are evenly assembled.
- Arrange skewers on a serving platter.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil if using.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
