Description

If you crave something sweet with a little tang, these White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies are exactly what you need. Because they combine rich chocolate with tart fruit, every single bite is a perfect balance. You get crispy edges with a soft, chewy center, making them perfect for holidays or everyday treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients on low speed until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  6. Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
  10. Allow cookies to cool slightly on the pan before transferring to a rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough is key for thick cookies. Always measure flour correctly and avoid overmixing to keep cookies soft and chewy. You can add nuts or orange zest for variation.
