Description

This Witches Brew for Kids is a magical, fruity punch filled with cozy fall spices and bright citrus flavor. Perfect for Halloween parties or Thanksgiving gatherings, this non-alcoholic witches brew is a fun and wholesome drink that both kids and adults will love. Whether served chilled or warm, it’s a festive beverage that captures the spirit of the season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 cups fresh-squeezed blood orange juice
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cups brewed black tea (or chamomile tea for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup sugar (or honey for natural sweetness)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 45 whole cloves
  • Orange slices and lemon wedges
  • 23 cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat until sugar dissolves completely, then remove from heat.
  2. Brew 3 cups of black or chamomile tea and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large punch bowl, combine cranberry juice, blood orange juice, and lemon juice.
  4. Stir in the brewed tea and simple syrup until well mixed.
  5. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and whole cloves. Stir gently to blend flavors.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors develop.
  7. Before serving, remove the whole cloves and add orange slices, lemon wedges, and cinnamon sticks.
  8. Serve chilled over ice or gently warm for a cozy fall drink.

Notes

Remove whole cloves before serving to young children. Adjust sugar or honey to taste depending on the natural sweetness of your juices. For a fun variation, add grape juice for deeper color or use peppermint tea for a cool twist. Make up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerate until ready to serve.
